I'll thank you for your suggestions, although they're not totally unknown to me. I don't know much about those and did some reading after I saw your reply! If that doesn't happen, I may be resigned to doing nothing. My second option is to log into my Gmail from an incognito window. I could understand tweaking the checkbox, except now it seems even less predictable. Unless the next user knows the password, the only thing being shown is the email address. I am in and out a couple of dozen email accounts for customers.

Signing out of one account no longer signs you out of all as used to be the case. I am signed out would need to enter my password again to see gmail , but my name and email address still appear. Some of these only sync to computers. When you do, simply closing all open browser windows will automatically sign you out and remove your account from the browser. Hence, I assume Chrome will follow suit. Having to stop all of them to close my browser, then start the browser again and reopen those other web sites is the height of absurdity.

On the other hand, the employees have just not made the effort to garner your understanding and support and any attempt for them to do one post a year and try to sell to you the idea that they really care is below the level of politician of town council. It's just more mental to-do trivia to carry around with you whenever you signin to use Google now. They had their own very idiosyncratic browsers, apparently. I really liked that they're whisper quiet, which's pretty much the opposite of what most fans sound like. How was this login supposed to be faster or more secure? My poor old brain seems to remember that the quality of the posts declined in these types of events in the past until the posts just stopped altogether. I think I remember Gmail's philosophy used to include the idea of using one of their email account for a lifetime, but who wants to spend the rest of their life 'removing their account' all the time? As many others, I use my email at work on a pc that's not mine and it is a stupid idea to ask me to remember to sign out every day.

Are you still using DuckDuckGo? Upon opening my browser again, I have to sign in to access any of those products that are assocaited with my Google account.
